In WorkBook an automated **briefing approval process** can be configured to send notifications to selected users for their approval. 

Whether your company has a briefing approval workflow in place or not, the steps below will either approve the brief or trigger the approval process.

## BRIEF APPROVAL

This briefing approval process applies to both job and task briefs. 

- To approve the brief, click the **approve briefing** button

## MANUAL BRIEF APPROVAL

If your agency has no formal brief approval process, but you’d like the brief to go to someone for approval, you can:

- Go to the **briefing approvers** tab
- Click the **add approver** button
- Click **ok**

- Go to the **briefing** tab
- Click the **approve briefing** button

## REVIEW BRIEF APPROVALS

- Go to the **briefing approvers** tab to review who the brief approval is with and any comments they have made

## CANCEL BRIEF APPROVAL

- To cancel the brief approval go to the **briefing** tab
- Click the **cancel briefing approval** button

- If you are sure you want to cancel the brief approval, click **yes**
