**Templates** in WorkBook are a great way of maintaining consistency across similar or regular occurring projects and save time by providing you with a starting point to build on. For example, if you deliver regular types of work for clients, e.g. website builds, you can create a price quote template to use over and over again. **Price quote templates **are used to import a set of phases, activities, hours and/or purchases. 

> 📝 You can only save templates if your license type and access level allows this.

## SAVE A PRICE QUOTE TEMPLATE

To maintain templates in one place, you can use** job 1006 WorkBook templates** to save your templates to, or create your own internal template job.

To create a price quote template you can either:

- [Create a Price Quote](https://tangram.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TGKB/pages/257228870/Step-by-Step+%3E+Create+a+Price+Quote) from scratch, or
- Duplicate an existing price quote and adjust as necessary prior to saving as a template
- Once you are ready to save the price quote as a template, go to the **header tab** > click **save as template** button :save-as-template:

- From the pop-up window, give your template an easy-to-recognize name
