**Price quotes** in WorkBook can be created in a number of ways, one method is to copy the job’s expenditures (time, materials, expenses, purchase orders, creditor invoices) that have already been recorded on the job to the quote. 

This is useful if, for instance, a job is canceled or re-scoped part-way through and the client has agreed to pay for all costs incurred to date.

## COPY EXPENDITURES TO PRICE QUOTE

- In the **Jobs list** > select the **job**
- Click on the **Price** icon

- Click **create new** button
- In the **create new price quote** pop-up box
  - Enter a **title**
  - In the **copy from** field select **expenditures from job**
- Click **OK**

- Select the items you want to copy to your price quote using the **filtering** options:
  - **Include cost types**
    - Hours
    - Materials
    - Purchases
    - Purchase orders, and
    - whether to exclude non approved entries
  - **Select period**
    - Entire period
    - Limited period: requires to input From / To date
  - Exclude items from invoices already finalised
  - Select the transfer invoice lines **method **
- Click **OK**

- All the **activities** based on your selected criteria will now appear in the **lines** tab
- From here you can edit, add or delete line items as necessary
