The revenue forecast is sent from the **finance & administration** module > **general ledger** > **revenue forecast**. The distribution of a net revenue forecast is usually managed by finance or operations, depending on your agency process.

## REVIEW ACTIONS MENU

You can send out the revenue forecast to be reviewed by: 

- Going to **finance & administration** module > **general ledger** > **revenue forecast**
- Clicking on the **revenue forecast options menu **>** **selecting **review actions**

Here is a brief synopsis of what each menu item can do. 

| **MENU ITEM** | **FUNCTION** |
| --- | --- |
| **Flexible Review** | Allows the selection of particular clients to then send the underlying records to the people who are responsible for each of the forecast records |
| **Approve & Lock Entire NRF** | Closes the forecast for editing<br>> 📝 This is typically done on a specific day each week/month depending on your forecast process |
| **Set all Under Preparation** | Allows you to change the status back to editable after it has been sent for review |
| **Send all to review** | Sends the forecast records to the forecast responsible via a notification<br>> 📝 Once they receive the notification, they can review, edit & approve their forecast records |

## DISTRIBUTING THE REVENUE FORECAST

- From the **revenue forecast options menu **> **review actions**
- Select **send all to** **review**

- In the pop-up click **yes**

- The **status** of the revenue forecast and the individual forecast records will change to ‘**for approval**’

> 📝 Once the NRF status moves from ‘under preparation’ to ‘for approval’ the NRF records can only be adjusted by the NRF responsible

## RETURNING THE STATUS TO UNDER PREPARATION

If you need to edit the revenue forecast, you must return the status to ‘under preparation’.   
To do this:

- From the **revenue forecast options menu **> **review actions**
- Select **set all under preparation **
