This report is summarised by client, job, and activity within a selected timeframe. It displays the total estimated, allocated, and used values, along with the variance between them. This makes it a valuable tool for analysing over- and under-utilisation, helping you identify trends, spot discrepancies, and make more informed project decisions.

> ✅ Tip: This report brings data in based upon the jobs filtered within the jobs list. Always check your job filter before filtering further when running the report

## NAVIGATION

With your **jobs filter **set up to show the jobs you want to report on, in the **jobs** module:

- Go to the **reports** icon > select **estimated/allocated/used hours sale (540)**

## SET REPORT CRITERIA

- **Show sales price: **will show value, as well as hours, when ticked
- **Hide used/remaining hours: **will only show allocated and estimated time
- **Hide estimated hours: **will strip away the estimated. Useful if you do not wish to compare this column, as hours are not estimated by month
- **Hide allocated hours: **if you only wish to compare estimate and actuals
- **Job end dates from/to: **complete if you wish to filter jobs based on their end date only
- **Hours from/to: **complete if you wish to filter based on hours logged in a date range
- **Only show approved price quotes: **will filter out price quotes not in status 40 or 50
- **Remaining based on:**
  - **Allocated hours:** shows the variance between used and allocated
  - **Estimated hours:** shows the variance between used and estimated

## VIEWING THE REPORT

- Go to the icons in the top right and select either:
  - View as a PDF
  - Export as an email
  - Export as a PDF, Excel, CSV file

| **NUMBER** | **COLUMN NAME** | **DETAILS** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **1** | **Grouping** | Groups by client, job and then activity <u>only</u> |
| **2** | **Estimated Time*** | The number of hours estimated on price quotes, where the price quote dates are within the date range selected in the report criteria |
| **3** | **Estimated Sale*** | The $ value of hours estimated on price quotes, where the price quote dates are within the date range selected in the report criteria |
| **4** | **Allocated Time*** | The number of hours scheduled, within the date range selected in the report criteria |
| **5** | **Expected Sale*** | The $ value of the hours scheduled, within the date range selected in the report criteria |
| **6** | **Used Time*** | The number of hours recorded on timesheets within the date range selected in the report criteria |
| **7** | **Used Sale Total*** | The $ value of hours recorded on timesheets within the date range selected in the report criteria |
| **8** | **Remaining*** | Shows the variance between (6) Used Time and (4) Allocated Time or (6) Used Time and (2) Estimated Time within the date range selected in the report criteria |
| **9** | **Remaining Sale*** | Shows the variance between (7) Used Sale Total and (5) Expected Sale or (7) Used Sale Total and (3) Estimated Sale within the date range selected in the report criteria |
| **10** | **Overburn** | A red icon indicates an overburn |
